Accommodations:

At Carpenter Lake Cabins, the accommodations are our pride and joy. The resort offers 5 quality housekeeping cabins and numerous campsites in the wilderness of the Algoma Highlands, 90 km east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The cabins come in a range of sizes and all have modern kitchens and bathrooms and are fully serviced with treated water, electric lights and refrigeration and propane for cooking and heating. Bedding, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided and all cabins have a picnic table and barbecue. All that you need to bring is your food and personal items such as a towel and soap.

Little Bear

Little Bear is our smallest and most economical cabin with approximately 500 square feet of floor area. Overlooking a lawn area near the main lodge, it has two single beds in each of two bedrooms and is suitable for a family or group of up to 4 adults.

Loon Haunt

Loon Haunt is a mid-size two-bedroom cabin (640 square feet of floor area) with open front porch overlooking Carpenter Lake. The cabin has a double bed in one bedroom and a double bottom/single top bunk bed in the other bedroom as well as a fold-out sofa. It is suitable for a family or group of 4 to 5 adults. The interior is dressed in knotty pine wainscot and has a pine dining room set.

Hidden Birch

Hidden Birch is our most secluded cabin overlooking the beach at the far end of the resort. The cabin has 800 square feet of floor area and a queen bed with fold out sofa in the pine-paneled main bedroom and a double bottom/single top bunk bed in the second bedroom. A large railed deck in front of the living room overlooks Carpenter Lake. Hidden Birch can comfortably accommodate a family or 5 adults.

Timber Wolf

Timber Wolf is a large two bedroom cabin of approximately 800 square feet area featuring open-concept living and dining rooms trimmed in pine wainscot with large windows overlooking Carpenter Lake. The cabin has a double bed in one bedroom and a double bed and single bunk bed in the second bedroom. By using fold-out sofas in the living room, Timber Wolf can accommodate up to 6 people.

Big Sky

Big Sky is a large, luxury chalet-style cabin of approximately 1115 square feet area. Big Sky has five beds in three bedrooms on two floors and a large high-ceiling living room. The cabin has oak floors a fireplace and two bathrooms and has large windows and a wrap-around deck overlooking Carpenter Lake.
