Carpenter Lake Cabins offers quality housekeeping accommodations in the rugged wilderness of the Algoma Highlands 90 km east of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Recreational opportunities include world-class fishing for lake trout, brook trout, pike and bass in more than a dozen nearby lakes where we have boats. The resort has good beaches for swimming, canoe rentals and well marked hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and scenic lookouts. A network of nearby roads is excellent for excursions by all-terrain vehicles and mountain bikes. Moose, deer and partridge are native to the area and can be hunted in the fall. The cabins are a warm and fully serviced centre for snowmobile excursions and ice fishing in winter.
We are open May through November and in February and can be reached by car in summer and snowmobile in winter. Weekly cabin rates range from $455.00 to $787.00 for a family in summer and include free use of boats. Special reduced rates apply for most of June.
